Lake Skadar in Montenegro is one of Europe’s largest bird sanctuaries. It is a crucial stop for migrating birds and is home to approximately 270 bird species. The oldest olive tree in the world is found in Montenegro’s southern town of Bar, where it is known as Stara Maslina.
