Argentina’s new citizenship‑by‑investment program, opening Q4 2026.
Argentina has announced a citizenship‑by‑investment program, expected to open for applications in the fourth quarter of 2026. Applicants choose between a non‑refundable $350,000 contribution to the National Treasury or the subscription of an $800,000 government bond created for the program. The passport gives visa‑free or visa‑on‑arrival access to approximately 170 destinations, including the Schengen Area, and Argentina permits dual citizenship. Applications are assessed by the Agency for Citizenship by Investment Programs and approved by the National Directorate of Migration; all funds must pass through the formal financial system and meet OECD and FATF‑aligned due diligence. Investment options.
Minimums for a single applicant. Government and due‑diligence fees apply on top; we quote them in writing before you commit.
Spouse ($100,000), unmarried children aged 18–25 without children of their own ($100,000 each) and children under 18 ($25,000 each).
Not yet published for the new program. The existing residency route requires roughly six months a year.
