Malta Citizenship by investment
EU citizenship for exceptional contribution — there is no longer a price list.
Malta’s investor citizenship scheme was closed in 2025 after the EU Court of Justice ruling. Citizenship by Exceptional Services remains: a discretionary grant for verified contribution in science, culture, enterprise, philanthropy or sport, after at least eight months of Maltese residence. For a fixed‑price EU route, see the Malta Permanent Residence Programme.
